Terms of Service

By making a booking with Travel & Transit, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms. These terms ensure clarity and fairness in all our transactions.

Introduction

Welcome to Travel & Transit. These Terms & Conditions outline the rules and guidelines for using our transportation services. By making a booking with us, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms. These terms ensure clarity and fairness in all our transactions and interactions with customers.

Services Provided
+

Travel & Transit specializes in providing professional and reliable transportation services, including but not limited to:

1

Airport Transfers — Safe and efficient transfers to and from airports.

2

City-to-City Transfers — Convenient travel between cities.

3

Hotel Transfers — Seamless rides to and from hotels.

4

Corporate Transfers — Tailored transport services for business professionals and corporate clients.

While our company primarily provides these services directly using our fleet and professional drivers, there may be occasions during exceptionally busy periods where we may rely on our trusted partner companies to complete certain transfers. We ensure that all partner companies meet our high standards of safety and service quality.

Bookings & Payments

All reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking. We do not accept partial payments.

Customers may cancel their bookings according to our Cancellation Policy, which details refund eligibility and applicable conditions.

If a customer wishes to reschedule a booking, it must be done at least 24 hours prior to departure. Once rescheduled, the booking is considered final and cannot be further cancelled or refunded.

Customer Responsibilities

For the safety and comfort of all passengers and drivers, customers are expected to adhere to the following rules:

All passengers must wear seatbelts at all times as per local laws.

2

Customers must comply with all local traffic and safety regulations.

3

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles.

4

Eating is not permitted in the vehicle unless the driver explicitly grants permission.

Late arrivals
1

When the driver arrives at the pickup location, they will contact the passenger via SMS, WhatsApp or phone call to confirm their arrival.

2

The driver will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes at no additional charge. Additional waiting time is charged at €14 per 15 minutes, payable directly to the driver via cash or card before departure.

For airport pickups, the driver monitors flight status. After landing, the driver will wait up to 60 minutes free of charge. Beyond this, €14 per 15 minutes applies. If the customer refuses to pay, the transfer is considered cancelled with no refund.

Delays & Liability

Travel & Transit prioritizes punctuality and reliability. However, in situations beyond our control — such as severe traffic, adverse weather or unforeseen circumstances — delays may occur.

If a driver anticipates a delay, they are required to immediately notify Travel & Transit headquarters, who will then inform the passenger as soon as possible.

Where a significant delay is expected, we will make every effort to assign an alternative driver to ensure a timely transfer.

Lost items
1

It is the passenger’s sole responsibility to check for all personal belongings before exiting the vehicle.

If an item is left in the vehicle, passengers must contact us as soon as possible to arrange retrieval.

The return of lost items will be treated as a separate service. For local returns, the minimum charge is €75, covering transportation costs and disruption to the driver’s schedule.

Cancellations by Travel & Transit

While we strive to honor all bookings, there are rare occasions where extreme weather or unforeseen emergencies may necessitate cancellations.

In cases where extreme weather alerts are issued and driving conditions become life-threatening, we reserve the right to cancel bookings for the safety of our drivers and passengers.

If a trip is cancelled due to safety concerns, customers will receive a 100% refund plus a 15% discount on their next booking as compensation.

3

Such cancellations occur only in exceptional circumstances, as our drivers are highly trained to handle various weather conditions.

Refund Policy

1

Full Refund — Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for a 100% refund.

Partial Refund — Cancel within 24 hours but at least 3 hours before departure for an 80% refund.

3

No Refund — Cancellations within 3 hours of departure are non-refundable.

Refund process

Email us at refunds@travelandtransit.com with your booking details.

We will confirm receipt of your request within 1 business day.

6

Refunds will be processed within 48 hours after confirmation.

7

Allow 3–4 business days for the refunded amount to appear in your bank account.

Legal Compliance & Disputes

Travel & Transit operates as a licensed taxi company under Dutch law and complies with all required legal and regulatory standards.

In the event of a dispute, customers should first contact us at info@travelandtransit.com.

If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached, any legal disputes shall be governed by Dutch law and conducted in the Netherlands.

Updates to Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on our website, and continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
